In this episode of Cultish, we’re joined by Jason Contino to examine controversial passages in the New World Translation and how the Watchtower’s translation choices affect key biblical texts concerning the deity of Jesus Christ.

Did the Watchtower rewrite the Bible to fit its theology?

What happens when we compare the NWT with the original biblical languages?

Jason walks us through passages such as John 1:1 and Colossians 1 to uncover what the text actually says about the identity and deity of Christ.
