Today we dive back into John 1:1, but since the Jehovah’s Witnesses who come to your door
often have pre-memorized speeches about the verse, we need to be prepared. There are a
whole range of ingenious interpretations of the first verse of John’s Gospel that have been
suggested down through the centuries by those who rejected, for one reason or another, the
over-all message of the Gospel of John. We will be looking at a range of these objections
today so that we will be ready to “give an answer” when the opportunity arises.
