Scripture says a lot about fear. One the one hand, God is constantly calling His people to not be afraid, to not fear, to resist the fear of man, and to trust Him.

On the other hand, God calls us to fear Him. Fear God. Not man. Not our circumstances. Not the future. Not any human being. Not what someone can do to us. We are safe in the Lord. Always, and in all circumstances.

May God help us to rest in the safety we have in His sovereign hands.
